The Burris scope: Precision optics for discriminating buyers

Burris starts with high quality optical glass and painstakingly grinds and polishes it to exacting tolerances. The Burris scope features fully multi-coated lenses -- this means every lens surface has multiple coats of a proprietary multi-chemical process, a feature usually found in scopes costing hundreds of dollars more. Each lens surface in these riflescopes transmits an incredible 99.5% of light.

Once assembled, the Burris scope is filled with nitrogen to absorb moisture. The nitrogen is purged and refilled a minimum of 24 times, so you can be sure there is no moisture left in the scope to cause internal fogging. Once purged, the scope is sealed with custom quad seals to assure it will be leakproof. Then the integrity of scope is tested to be sure it is waterproof, shockproof and fogproof. Only then does the Burris scope receive the famous forever warranty.

The Burris scope has ergonomic features as well. There are special grooves on the adjustment rings to provide a sure, firm grip, even when wearing gloves. All adjustment systems are positive, repeatable, steel-on-steel, with audible clicks, so there's no fumbling or guessing about a setting. Even the mounting system is world class with pivoting synthetic inserts. Special offset inserts facilitate sighting-in of the Burris scope -- with little or no internal adjustment required.
