German precision in a high-end scope
Zeiss scopes, while among the most
expensive, are manufactured with exacting attention to detail and
quality. With objective lens diameters of up to 40 mm, images are bright
and brilliant even in poor light conditions. Utilizing glass free from
lead and arsenic, the optics in Zeiss scopes are multi-coated to improve
light transmission and reduce glare. Eyepieces have diopter adjustment
to compensate for individual eyesight. Long eye relief is standard in
most models -- at least 4 inches.
Adjustments on Zeiss scopes are many. Models
that are not parallax-free at fixed distances have separate parallax
adjustment. Reticles are adjustable to insure quick and precise sighting
-- most are ¼ MOA. Elevation and windage changes do not affect each
other even at the ends of the adjustment ranges. Waterproof and
nitrogen-filled to prevent interior fogging, Zeiss instruments are
finely crafted. There is even a model group designed exclusively for use
in North America's unique hunting conditions and locations.
Zeiss scopes have one piece tubes for
stability and durability. Ruggedly built, they also have 1-inch diameter
center tube for easy mounting. Most models have a number of different
reticles available, so you can customize your scope with just the right
one. Finishes include black anodized and stainless steel. These products
maintain the world's standard for uncommon performance and mechanical
reliability and are priced accordingly. For the committed hunter, the
perfectionist or uncompromising quality-seeker, nothing less than a
Zeiss will do.
