scope reliably and solidly. Leupold was the first U.S. mount maker to
use the torx-type drive system. The design of a torx-type head won't
strip screws or distort drivers like the old-fashioned hex-type heads
will. You can efficiently tighten screws more securely and efficiently,
with less risk of damage to your scope or weapon.
Weaver rifle scope mounts are precision built. Each Weaver scope mount
is machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. Fastening screws on
Weaver mounts are custom-hardened to assure durability and correct fit.
Weapon recoil is often a problem with less well designed products, but
Weaver scope mounts neutralize the effects of recoil by using a
square-cut notch that mates to the crossbolt in the ring. Weaver rifle
scope mounts are the industry standard.
